♥ The bad habit - SMOKING ♥

As everyone knows smoking is harmful, it’s not good for health.
But there’re many people don’t know deeply about that
Here I’m here to post about that.
Yes, I hate people smoking. But my daddy do so :(

Aww.. smoking make you look ugly :S
Image-less...
Let talk about the history of Tobbaco :S
The word tobacco is thought to derive from
the Native American word “Tobago”,
for a Y-shaped pipe used in sniffing tobacco powder.
Cigarettes and other forms of tobacco consist of dried tobacco leaves, and other ingredients added for flavor and other properties.

Facts that related with smoking:
- Smoking is the second major cause of death in the world. It's responsible for the death of one in ten adults worldwide.
- Smoking accounts for about 80-90% of all chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
- Smoking is involved in 85% of all lung cancer deaths.
- Smoking is the major cause of cancer of the lips, tongue, mouth, pharynx, larynx and esophagus.
- Smoking has many other harmful effects in the body, a too long list to include it here.

Smoking causes cancer because tobacco
And tobacco smoke contain more than 60 carcinogenic compounds.
In general, more than 4,000 individual substances have been identified in tobacco smoke, including carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide, ammonia and other highly toxic irritants.
Yes, it's not a mistake!?
more than 4,000 toxic substances that can go inside your body when you smoke!

Besides all the harmful effects of tobacco, it is addictive, and this explains why although 70% of smokers want to quit and 35% attempt to quit each year, fewer than 7% succeed. And the main reason why tobacco becomes addictive is due to its content of nicotine, which alters brain functioning.

Nicotine is a naturally occurring liquid alkaloid. An alkaloid is an organic compound made out of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and sometimes oxygen. These chemicals have potent effects on the human body. For example, many people enjoy the stimulating effects of another alkaloid, caffeine.

When you smoke, nicotine is absorbed through the skin and mucosal lining of the mouth and nose or by inhalation in the lungs. Once in the body, it activates the same reward system as do other drugs such as cocaine or amphetamine, although to a lesser degree. In the brain, nicotine increases the level of the neurotransmitter dopamine, which is a chemical in the brain responsible for feelings of pleasure. The acute effects of nicotine subside within minutes, so people continue dosing themselves frequently throughout the day to maintain the pleasurable effects of nicotine and to prevent withdrawal symptoms.

♥Onion make me Cry =( ♥

I believe You guy experience tearing problem when cutting an onion right?

But, do you ever ask yourself that:

Why do onions make you cry?

Inside the onion cells there are some chemical compounds which contain sulfur. When you cut an onion, the cells break and those compounds suffer a chemical reaction and they are transformed into more volatile sulfured compounds, which are released into the air.

the sulfur-containing compound

These sulfured compounds react with the moisture in your eyes forming sulfuric acid, which produces a burning sensation. The nerve endings in your eyes are very sensitive and so they pick up on this irritation. The brain reacts by telling your tear ducts to produce more water, to dilute the irritating acid. So you cry to keep your eyes protected from the acid.

There are some tricks to make onion-dicing less problematic:

- Chop the onion under cold water. The volatile sulfured compounds will be released but then they react with the water, instead of reaching your eyes.

- You can freeze the onion for 10 minutes before cutting it. The cold temperature of the onion will slow down the chemical reaction which forms the volatile sulfured compounds.

♥Aww.. Burn the midnight oil again =S ♥

Yesh, i'm the lazy person who love to study at the eleventh hours,
i admitted.

But i'm always Start snore when i took out all my note and books..

I loved to eat when study to keep myself awake last time,
But the result is

GAIN A LOT OF WEIGHT
So, Eating while study is Worst Idea =s

What is my Savior?
Yes, is Coffee : )
I prefer Drink coffee instead of ate snack.
It's really does awake me.
It's well-known that the coffee effect of coffee on mood is related to its content—Caffeine

But why caffeine has such a strong effect on us?

**Let me tell you =) let have a look at the structure of caffeine..

Caffeine operates using the same mechanisms of amphetamines, cocaine, and heroin to stimulate the brain, though with milder effects. It manipulates the same channels as the other drugs, and
That is one of the things that give caffeine its addictive qualities.

P/s : so don't over rely coffee..

There is a chemical in our brain called Adenosine, that binds to certain receptors and slows down nerve cell activity when we are sleeping. To a nerve cell, caffeine looks like adenosine and it binds to the adenosine receptors. However, as it's not really adenosine, it doesn't slow down the cell's activity like adenosine would. So the cell cannot "see" adenosine anymore because caffeine has taken up all the receptors adenosine binds to. Then instead of slowing down because of the adenosine level, the cells speed up.

The pituitary gland sees all of this activity and thinks some sort of emergency must be occurring, so it releases hormones that tell the adrenal glands to produce adrenaline. Adrenaline is the "fight" hormone, and it makes your heart to beat faster, the breathing tubes to open up, the liver to release sugar into the bloodstream for extra energy and your muscles to tighten up, ready for action. Because of this, after consuming a Big cup of coffee, your muscles tense up, you feel excited and you can feel your heart beat increasing. Moreover, as amphetamines, caffeine also increases the levels of Dopamine, which is associated with the pleasure system of the brain, providing feelings of enjoyment and reinforcement.

♥This is called Emulsifying♥

It's Shopping SPREE!
Of course i can't shop till drop since i still a student. i can't afford that.. Sad
How good if my purse full of CASH$$ :(

Again i steal my cousin's thing as my blogging material.. Hiak hiak :)
This cleansing oil is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

For those who are using make up, it is very important to have your make up removed completely. And some removers just don’t do. When make up is not properly removed, the residues will clog up your pores and your skin will be affected.

It’s the perfect make up remover.

Shu Uemura’s cleansing oil not only removes make up (foundation, mascara, eyeliner, and etc), but also cleanses the skin, leaving it soft and smooth.

Opps.. it's sounded like advertisement now=.= Shu Uemera, think of me.

Hire me as your ambassador? =.= Obviously, kidding again. Haha

Nah,Here is the Shu Uemura’s High Performance Balancing Cleansing Oil

Shu Uemura’s cleansing oil was different to other makeup remover. Although it’s oil based, it doesn’t leave behind an oily feeling. Instead, it makes the skin feel fresh and clean.

I’ll explain why with the following steps on how to use Shu Uemura’s High Performance Balancing Cleansing Oil: )

Here we have skin.. with makeup on.

Eye liner, eye shadow, lip stick, and all that jazz. You catch my drift.

Start off with an appropriate amount of the cleansing oil with your dry hand, and spread it gently and thoroughly on your face.

Start by removing the makeup around your face first, foundation and etc. Spread the cleansing oil throughout your face except your eyes. When your done removing all the face makeup, it’s time to start removing the eye makeup.

As for this case, i’m applying it on my hand. Obviouslyyy..

Now at this point, this might start to look ugly cause you’ve already started removing the eye makeup. All the eyeliner and stuff will be all over so your face will be a little bit black black gray gray.

Typing that made me laugh, hahahaha!

**Cough.

A liitle sweet tips:

Don’t forget to do a little massage for your face to make sure all the makeup is removed thoroughly.

THEN.

Add a little water to the face by wetting your fingers a little bit. At this point, the cleansing oil will turn milky.

This is called emulsifying.

Repeat this step for about three times. Then rinse off thoroughly.

Pat your face dry and feel your skin! :)

I’m tried this as my facial cleanser and i have to admit that after washing my face with this, my skin becomes very soft and smooth. Like baby’s butt!

IT’S TRUE!

And the best thing is that this cleansing oil comes in many types to suit different types of skin.

RM 260 for 450 ml. RM 100 for 150 ml. o.O WHAO,jaw drop !

It’s pricey, but i see this as an investment. Good skin complexion is an essential.

If you’re planning to get this, make sure you get the sales assistant to show you the procedures of using the cleansing oil.

Hope you guy love this post. Spend me couple of hours to do the experimental in order to take pic>.<"
